Canal Vases
Each vessel is an expression of time on material, stages from early to late. I always used to walk the edges of the water at the bottom of the hill that joined two neighborhoods. There is a welcoming energy to the landscape of corrosion and vestiges, reminders of whats real can make you feel at home. New York has always been a place for those from far away to find glamour and glitz but when you’re from here you grow to cherish the moments that are behind, beneath, and beyond the facade of opulence.
